Rhino Bunny by Mayuko Kono

Bunny post Mitch Shiles

These are my Bunny Rabbit pictures I think they would look better with some fur textures. I found the Bend tool very useful along with some of the other tools under transform.

this is a test to see if I can upload an image (top of a Bunny ear) ...

it worked!
To do this from Rhino:

Find a screen shot of your bunny you like in Rhino.

Under the "render" tab:
select "render preview" (this image will have more pixels than the final rendering. You can also try different light settings on your screen shot image and see how they look under the preview option if you like, but it is not necessary)

When you have a shot you wish to render, select "render"
(a drop down box will appear with your image- looks neat!)

Under "edit", select "save as"

under "file name": give it a name

Under "save as type", drop down and choose JPEG

upload that onto http://psudigitalhand.blogspot.com/

Then when you go to post a comment on our blog, you will see a picture icon to the right or the "ABC" spell check icon.

Click that. It allows you to upload jpeg up to 8MB.

Hi Guys, I found a neat site and posted the link to it on the left: http://paramod2.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html As you will read, it is used as a digital sketchbook of sorts and has an archive going back through 2008. If you click on June 2008, some Rhino tutorials are available, including; constructing in curves and surfaces in rhino, Layers, joining, grouping, and construction planes Best, BC

Tutorials to review class software demos

We're starting to post some video tutorials that will contain the same information as the demos presented in class. I'm working on the compression settings for optimal size and quality but right now they are pretty big and take awhile to download . . . please be patient. I've posted both links to online html documents along with .zip files that you can download to your computer. If you think you want to review them multiple times I might suggest downloading them and saving the files to watch from your computer, or you could save them on an external hard drive or burn a cd and watch them from there.
